Jenelle Russo is a professional Singer and Vocal Coach based in Perth who has been singing on stage since she was 5 years old.
Jenelle attended John Curtin College of the Arts in Fremantle, and after graduating, went on to complete her Bachelor of Arts – Musical Theatre, at the renowned West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA).
Jenelle has enjoyed a successful career in Musical Theatre, Singing, Television, and Film, working alongside many of Australia’s most acclaimed Performers, as well as internationally renowned actors.
Jenelle has performed on stage with the likes of Slim Dusty, Smokey Dawson, Keith Urban and even Michael Jackson. She has sung several times at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, and performed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville Tennessee.
Jenelle has acted in Disney Film Productions alongside Harry Connick Jnr, Glenn Close and Jack Thompson, featured in a sitcom with Jean Kittson and shared the Musical Theatre Stage with John Waters, Tamsin Carroll, Steve Bastoni, Mark Mitchell, Stuart Wagstaff and Sally-Anne Upton. Jenelle has appeared in many Australian TV shows including Home and Away, White Collar Blue, Water Rats, Blue Heelers and City Homicide.
Throughout her career, Jenelle has been a passionate educator and facilitator and is a qualified School Teacher, having completed her Bachelor of Education.
Currently, Jenelle owns and operates Jenelle Russo Studio, while also performing as a session musician. She sings a wide range of styles and genres, from covers to originals and is the lead singer of her own band, in which she is a writer and composer.
